Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, Dr. Kordonowy has been practicing medicine in Fort Myers since 1993. Recognized as an outstanding physician by the American College of Physicians, Dr. Kordonowy earned his degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, and completed his residency as Chief Resident at the Orlando Regional Hospital System.

With nearly two decades of private practice experience as a Fort Myers doctor, Dr. Kordonowy understands how best to treat his patients, ensuring that they get the highest quality care for competitive, market based prices. His practice, Internal Medicine Lipid & Wellness, provides a full-fledged “medical home” model, with comprehensive labs, diagnostic equipment, and primary care all within one conveniently located office in Fort Myers, Florida. Margaret Kordonowy Practice Administrator

Margaret is our administrator. She received two Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Business Administration and Occupational Therapy at the University of Kansas. She has worn may different hats from forming a non-profit organization, consulting with businesses to help develop departments and programs, providing occupational therapy at many different facilities around Fort Myers, and most importantly, raising two wonderful boys. She enjoys playing with her 2 dogs, 1 cat & 2 chickens along with reading and practicing yoga.

Kimberley Blanco Medical Assistant
Kimberley Blanco graduated from City College of Fort Lauderdale and earned her Associate’s in Science degree and has worked in Family Practice and Internal Medicine for the last 16 years. She is engaged, has 3 sons, and 1 granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as watching baseball, as her son and fiancé play on a mens adult baseball league, so she enjoys watching them play every Sunday.
Rosie Ortiz Medical Assistant
Roselyn Ortiz has been dedicated to the health care field for over two decades. She earned her Medical Assistant Degree from Miami Medical School. Always passionate about assisting and caring for patients, she finds her position at IMLWP gives her the perfect opportunity to do so, while working alongside two exceptional physicians. She is a mother to two wonderful children. Her weekends are spent indulging in hobbies such as boating, fishing and spending quality time with her family and her golden doodle, Milo. She carries immense pride in being a part of this medical team.
Lorena Bencosme Lab & Dispensary Manager
Lorena Bencosme graduated from Atlantic Cape Community College, where she earned her Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and EKG technician certifications. She also attained a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Physiology from Stockton University in New Jersey. She is married and the proud mother of two beautiful girls. Her hobbies include cooking and spending quality time with her family.
